ADVICE

To give you a taste of the kind of service you will receive on arrival, here are a few recommendations to add to the classic tourist walks.

Restaurant La taverna dei Monti
Via del boschetto 41 - Roma  Tel. +39 06 48177 24
is our first and simplest recommendation: family-run with convenient prices (pasta between €5-€9), wide menu from Roman cuisine to fresh fish.

Hosteria La carbonara
Via Panisperna 214 - Roma  Tel. +39 06 48251 76
an excellent quality-price ratio: homestyle cuisine with the mother in the kitchen and the son serving the tables

Pizzeria La Pecora pazza ( the crazy sheep)
is an ideal solution if you want to eat near the Trevi fountain and the Spanish Steps. It’s the best pizza by the slice in the city center with excellent prices.

Between the Ghetto, Campo de Fiori and Trastevere, you can take a rest at the “Bar del cappuccino” with the guaranteed worlds’ best cappuccino at the cost of 80 cents and fresh sandwiches at  €1.50.

For 20 euros, “Roma Pass” guarantees you easy access to public transportation and to the city’s museums. Sold at the hotel reception.
